Vibe Community Connections is a recreational program to enrich the lives of adults and teens through a variety of creative programming. Through 35 years of combined experience, owners and operators Tina Leonard and Sarah Singleton; have created this community program free of barriers and open to meeting the unique support needs of participants and families. As a private service our members are able to utilize PASSPORT funding annually received for life enrichment from the government of Ontario.

VIBE is a persons emotional state or the atmosphere felt by others. COMMUNITY is a unified body of individuals, and with this comes comfort, connections and strength. CONNECTIONS are exchanges in energy and at the core of humanity. We all need to be seen heard and valued.

Using this support ethos our model was developed; and Vibe has grown building an exceptional experienced team.

Our Services

One-to-One Respite Care

Experience personalized care and support with our one-to-one respite services at our facility or in the community. We have an amazing, diverse and dedicated team of staff to support our clients needs.

Our afternoon programming runs Monday to Thursday 12:30-3:30pm and Friday 12:00-3:00. These groups are planned and facilitated by our experienced team. Each group is unique and the activities and projects planned are geared specifically to those in service that day. Our goal is to to help build connections among members so they may continue to have support outside of our programming

Structered Afternoon Group Program

TGIF Friday Nights

To meet the needs of our young adults; 15-30 years old, we have created a Friday evening group running from 5:30-8. This group is structured including community outings, art projects, karaoke, games, refreshments and snack.

When our grandson Kristian was first interviewed to become a participant in the group “Vibe Community Connections”, we didn’t realize what kind of group he was getting in to. We met Tina and Sarah who seemed like two very positive women starting on a journey and fulfilling their dream of getting a group together to help the disabled members of our community. We were very excited for Kristian to start with this group because he desperately needed to have interaction with other people in his life and he had nothing at the time.

From day one, Vibe has been a positive, upbeat, energetic and safe place for Kristian to go to weekly. He has met new friends and eagerly awaits for Thursdays to come so he can attend his session with his friends! Kristian has learned so many new things from the outings they go on, to the crafts and exercises they do. He constantly talks about what he did and what he learned at each session. He also loves the snacks he gets every week too!

Vibe has grown by leaps and bounds since it started! Every staff member gives positive energy to all the participants. When you walk into the building you really do feel, Good Vibrations!

The team at Vibe are an amazing group! They create a safe but fun filled positive atmosphere for their clients! Their hands on interactive program has helped my son build more confidence in himself to connect with others and has a broadened his social circle. When I tell my son its his day at VIBE he is on his way to the car before I can get my shoes on!!! I love that Vibe gives him something to look forward to!
